In order to provide the highest support for the construction work, Unicons annually upgrades the modern equipment and synchronous warehouse systems with a total investment of nearly 500 billion VND.
Playing the major role in improving equipment efficiency, the Unicons’s Equipment Management and Investment Division is responsible for:
- Management, investment, supply, lease and disposal of the equipment
- Technical management of construction equipment and bidding support
- Warehouse management and equipment manufacture
- Supply and delivery & reception of supplies and equipment
- Heavy equipment management
- Data summarization and statistics
- Management and erection of Tubular scaffolding
In each project, we always have supervisors who are in charge of equipment. They work closely with the Steering Committee to be well aware of the need for equipment on site and make a plan for timely delivery and control the use, provision and handover of equipment, keeping records on equipment, ensuring accurate data, regularly reporting to the Equipment Department on the use of equipment on site. We also use equipment management software named CMS in a scientific and effective way.

MODERN FACILITIES – SYNCHRONOUS SYSTEM
WAREHOUSE’S CAPACITY:
Unicons has invested in construction and expansion of the equipment warehouse in Binh Duong with an area of over 12,000m2. The warehouse is managed by a team of engineers and professional specialists, arranged in a professional and scientific manner and equipment is maintained regularly to be available as soon as practicable for ‘hot’ projects at Unicons.
LIFTING EQUIPMENT:
Unicons uses the Potain tower cranes imported from France with an average lifting capacity of 8-10 tons for the lifting of supplies and equipment on site; The Alimak-branded modern hoist system is imported from Swede with a lifting capacity of 2 tons per cage for the transport of people and light supplies and equipment to storeys under construction. In addition, other equipment items such as loading hoist, working platform, etc. are also used in construction works built by Unicons in suitable construction works.
EQUIPMENT FOR COVERING:
The scaffolding system for covering is an unmistakeable "specialty" of the Unicons and Coteccons Group projects in general. Unicons now owns more than 100,000 m2 of scaffolding for covering purposes. Nets for purposes of covering and catching falling objects are installed on the entire surface to minimize the risk of falling equipment and contribute to the beautiful appearance of works. The moveable staircase system is designed to move safely up and down between floors, which helps speed up the construction progress of Unicons projects.
FLOOR-SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM:
Unicons effectively utilizes specialized floor-scaffolding equipment systems such as cuplock scaffolding and Ringlock scaffolding covering over 30,000 m2. Floor-scaffolding system is synchronous, high quality and regularly maintained.
ALUMINUM FORMWORK SYSTEM:
Aluminum formwork system is an effectivie alternative to traditional plank formwork system. With its strengths of being able to construct the whole block (columns-walls, beams, floors), simple support system, and airy construction surface, the aluminum formwork system brings durable concrete surface, and considerably shortens the construction time in Unicons projects.
MACHINERIES USED IN CONSTRUCTION:
Unicons owns a large number of modern construction machineries that help improve construction efficiency in projects. These include cutting and steel-bending machines, pressure sprayers, sand screeners.
In order to meet the increasing number of projects, Unicons continuously develops supplies and equipment resources by coordinating with suppliers, warranty and maintenance units to ensure an efficient and timely support for the construction process. Currently, Unicons is a regular partner of transportation units, large equipment rental units across the country. These unremitting efforts have resulted in a continuous supply of high quality equipment for construction sites, increasing productivity, contribution to speeding up the progress of projects and successfully compleleting them.
